Information For Race Day

1.  What time do I need to be at ColtState Park?
          Runners/Walkers need be at ColtState Park no later then 8:30am.  Race packet pick-up and sign-in will open at 7:30am on Sunday, August 28, 2011.

2.  Where do I go once I'm in Colt State Park?
         There will be signs and volunteers guiding you to parking.

3.  Where do I pick up my registration packet?
          There will be a race registration packet pick-up table next to the shelter at Colt State Park.

4.  Can I register the day of the event?
          Yes, but it is HIGHLY encouraged to register beforehand at www.helpbrandon.com

5.  What is the race course?

6.   Will the race be cancelled if it rains?
         No, the race will go on regardless of rain. If Acts of God impeed on the safety of race particpants, the Brandon Motta Fund reserves the right to cancel the event without refund. If cancellation occurs, notices will be posted to www.helpbrandon.com and via email.

7.  What do I need to bring?
          All you need to bring is your smile and enthusiasm!

8.  Will there be a bag check?
          Yes, we will have a bag check for car keys, change of clothes, and etc.  Brandon Motta Fund is NOT RELIABLE for any lost personal gear.  Recommend bringing a backpack/bag to put additional clothes in.  We will have tape to write your name and bib number.  We will also have a basket for keys. 

9.  Who will start first, runners or walkers?
         Runners and walkers will start at the same time. However, all walkers will be required to move to the back of the start line in order for all runners to have a clean and clear path at the start of the race. This is subject to change, waive starts will be incorporated if numbers call for it.

10.  Will there be water on the course?
        Yes, we will have 2 water points.  There will be one water point on both the runners and walkers course.  We will also have water, electrolytes, and food at the finish line.
